Best Things To Do In Brazil

Brazil is a country filled with vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable experiences.

It’s also the ideal destination for the adventurous, offering everything from bustling streets in Rio de Janeiro to the serene Amazon rainforest, with an incredible array of nature at every turn.

So, let’s take a look at some of the gems you’ll find in this incredible corner of South America…

Rio de Janeiro: The Marvellous City

Rio de Janeiro, known as the “Marvellous City,” is a must-visit destination in Brazil.

Perhaps the country’s most famous city, this vibrant city blends urban excitement with natural beauty, meaning there’s something for everyone.

No trip to Rio is complete without visiting the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. This granite peak rises 396 metres above the harbour, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and Guanabara Bay. Tip – take a cable car ride to the summit and witness the stunning sunset over the city’s skyline.

Another unmissable attraction in Rio is the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue. Standing atop Corcovado Mountain, this 38-metre-tall Art Deco statue is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The view from the statue is simply spectacular, encompassing the city, beaches, and surrounding mountains.

You’d be remiss if you didn’t spend some time relaxing on the famous Copacabana Beach on a visit to Rio de Janeiro. With its golden sands and lively atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to soak up the Brazilian sun and experience the local beach culture.

We head to Sugarloaf Mountain and spend time in Rio de Janeiro as part of our Best of Brazil trip, which you can find out more about here.
