Many environments make up the country of Morocco. High, snowy mountains tower over lush valleys. The sand and rocky terrain of the Sahara desert. As well as the coastline which beckons surfers from around the world with its amazing waves. Of course, Morocco is also home to a unique and vibrant culture. Explore the colourful souks with their locally-crafted wares, visit exquisitely-tiled mosques and relax in the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech. Or, for a more low-key cultural experience, head to any Berber village to drink a delicious mint tea over a chat with friendly locals.

The Blue City – Chefchaouen is the one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is famous for its varied shades of blue paint that cover the walls. The blue is said to symbolize the sky and heaven, and serve as a reminder to lead a spiritual life. However, according to some locals, the walls were mandated to be painted blue simply to attract tourists at some point in the 1970s.
The Architecture – The elaborate geometric patterns and colourful mosaic’s will have you wanting to re-create in your own abode.
And so much more – Whether it’s the packed Markets that offer more variety than an audition day at Britains got Talent, or the food which have more spice than Geri Halliwell’s birthday party. Morocco provides it all and is a FEAST for all the senses.

WHY
Why should you visit? Morocco is like a planet of its own with its diverse idiosyncrasy, beautiful landscapes, ancient traditions, incredible friendly people, wonderful views and a combination of traditional and modern practices, a country not only to visit but to praise most highly.
Why do Morocco speak French? After independence, to facilitate economic growth and to increase its ties to Europe, the Moroccan government decided to strengthen its ties with France, resulting in the promotion of French.
OUR TOP TIPS
The official languages in Morocco are Arabic and French, followed by English. If you speak French, you could converse fluently with most locals this way, but you will not struggle with English alone. Whilst Morocco has its own variations on Arabic, learning a few standard Arabic phrases should suffice to help you with basic conversation.
Morocco is a predominantly Muslim country, so please dress modestly where possible and respect the local culture and faith. Always ask before taking photos – especially in the main square. Be mindful that performers will usually ask for money in return for taking their picture.
If you feel you have been looked after well by your porters, guides and cooks, it is always a nice gesture to share a tip. The expectations for the amount of this tip may vary depending on itinerary.
