Mount Toubkal Kit List

Trekking Mount Toubkal? Fantastic choice – here’s everything you’ll need to pack for your trip.

Our Mount Toubkal trek is one of our most popular adventures, and for good reason. Toubkal is the biggest peak in North Africa, but despite the height, it’s relatively straightforward; you don’t have to be the best trekker in the world to get through it.

What you do need is the right kit, and that’s exactly why we’ve put together this article: to make sure you’ve got everything you need to make your trek a roaring success.

Bear in mind that the kit list is extensive, and if you were to buy it all from scratch, it’d cost you a lot.

With that in mind, it’s worth thinking about whether you’ll use these items again – if not, hiring or borrowing some of them is likely to be a smart way to save yourself some pounds.

Before we dive into the list, there are a few things to mention:

  1. This list is only a guide – if you ARE going to Mount Toubkal and you want specific advice, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.
  2. You’ll only be able to take ONE bag on the mountain (maximum 13kg), but you’ll be able to leave some items at your hotel.
